This project update is long overdue. Β A few months ago, I received these mailbox numbers to review.
The delay in posting this is due to a few things — the primary thing being that the numbers are applied with an adhesive backing and we’ve had some rainy weeks here in New Orleans. Β The other reason being– LIFE– it’s just been busy around here, but that’s another story for another day… or year.
I love the details of party planning, but what do you do when you have a tight timeline and little assistance for setup. Β You follow my 3 steps to planning & executing a party:
One of my favorite ways to spruce up the appearance of our home is to make a custom wreath.
It is also very rewarding to make something for my home with my own two hands.
One of my #FrugalTips in doing so, is to purchase wreath supplies from your local dollar tree.
You can purchase a wire wreath, or use the floral foam and your preferred artificial flowers to make a custom wreath for your door or entryway.
Below are a few photos and some step by step instructions for some of the recent wreath projects I completed.
If you like what you see or have any questions, please let me know in the comments. You can also send me a note at FixItWithFran@gmail.com! Until next time, Go Fix Something! π

As far as I can recall, “Fix-It With Fran” was born in 2008 (The timestamped photo supports that theory).
At some point during my grad school career, my office administrator started calling me “Fix-It Fran.” Β Every time something happened in the office, particularly with plants, she jokingly said, “It’s time for Fix-It With Fran.”
