It’s been far too long since I’ve been active on here, but I’ll be posting more soon.🙏🏾.
One of my current pastimes is caring for my orchid plants.🌱🌺🌸🌿
Here are a few photos of my recent blooms…
I’m still adapting my watering schedule and learning the care that will allow orchids to thrive in my particular home environment and articles like this one are full of useful tips!
It’s been a long time since I blogged about basic orchid care! Because I often get questions regarding how to water orchids, I thought it was high time I revisited my original post on watering these beautiful but sometimes challenging houseplants.

I had a very low-key day, today.
Initially, I planned to work in my garden beds, but we experienced some temperature changes that set my seasonal allergies into a frenzy over the past week.
As a result, I was unable to garden and spent most of my day dealing with sinus congestion and related pressure/pain.
But, rest is ALWAYS needed and welcomed.
Hopefully, I’ll be up and feeling better tomorrow. 🙏🏾
In the meantime, I’d love to share one of my favorite new accessories with you. 😀
Gardening in Louisiana can be tough. This post includes some of my tips for healthy flowers and staying hydrated in the Louisiana Heat!
This has been a hard, long, week. Filled with lots of emotional highs and lows. The biggest low being the loss of my husband’s grandfather.
I didn’t know him as long as others were blessed to, but I got the chance to experience a grandfather as an adult and that in itself was a special gift from God.
He wasn’t just my husband’s grandfather. He was my Grandpa Sterling.
I love plants and crawling vines are a great starter plant for a first time gardener.
I did another video today with a few tips I’ve learned and developed over the years. Check out the full video at the link below.
