Good morning and HAPPY MONDAY!

Today’s verse is a familiar one. I think it is one that can become almost TOO familiar at times.  Too the point where we begin to overlook the depth of its instruction.

Not only are these words telling us NOT to worry, but these words are WRITTEN IN RED. This tells us that they were spoken, BY JESUS HIMSELF.  Pause for a moment and take that in.

For me, that means those words are EXTRA IMPORTANT.

I did one bible study where I went through and studied those “words in red.” Now, all of the Bible is important, but if you’ve never taken the time to read what Jesus said you should. In some instances, you’ll see that his responses were brief.

Other times you’ll notice the careful way he goes about giving complete everyday examples so that the multitudes could understand his lessons (aka the parables). It’s a truly powerful way to study the Word.

As I shared on my instagram page, it’s also amazing to me that this is today’s verse of the day because I was LITERALLY thinking of this as I was out and about yesterday and when the Holy Spirit reminded me of this truth, it brought me SO MUCH PEACE.

God is SO GOOD.

No matter what you face this morning, I’m praying that you’ll give yourself the GRACE for TODAY.

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
