Whenever I think of a resolution, I often think of the documents passed by a board or governing body. I’m sure this is thanks to my years of Public Service work.
Those resolutions were documents that would be tucked away once passed. Maybe they’d be referred to a time or two throughout the year (or when they were up for renewal), but they were not on the forefront of the group’s activities.
As we begin this new year, this old post came back to mind. I stopped doing resolutions years ago because they just don’t work for me. Goals do.
I mentioned, in an earlier post, that this year I’ll share a bit more about my personal goals and the progress I hope to make as the year continues. My list includes a few goals that I’m bringing forward from last year and others that are completely brand new.
I pray this post encourages someone. You may have resolutions you set in the past, but never accomplished. PLEASE, give yourself some GRACE. Reset your goals and keep moving forward! I’m right there with you! 💖💖💖
So, I encourage you today. Instead of setting another resolution, set a GOAL and understand that if you don’t ACCOMPLISH that goal this year it’s a goal that you can carry into the next year.
