You never realize how something as simple as a good face wash, your toothbrush or even your favorite pair of slippers can make a hospital stay that much more tolerable… and maybe even help to speed up your recovery.
When my husband was hospitalized, I shut down my home office and went to be by his side.
I can’t remember exactly what I was doing before leaving the house that day, but I grabbed an overnight bag, filled it with most of his essentials and (thankfully) remembered a few things for myself… the important things, like deodorant and a few changes of clothes and underwear.
