Hey y’all! ππΎββοΈ
I’m back with another video. π©πΎβπ»π₯π¬
Part 2 of this #Vlog series.
More updates to come!
Here’s the a link to the first video: https://youtu.be/W10PdcJrg1g
The most recent video was recorded the night of the storm. I also added in some photos and reflections from the course of the day.

I decided to document our Ida experience before it became the history making event we now know it to be.Β
***Disclaimer****
We were VERY fortunate throughout our experience.Β I FULLY acknowledge that not everyone is able to evacuate at the drop of a hat (I’ll talk about that more later).
I will also say that our homes and neighborhoods had VERY minimal damage ππΎ compared to othersπ₯ and most of New Orleans was spared from the types of destruction that was seen during Hurricane Katrina.
Even still, this was a lot to deal with….especially given that I was still feeling (physically and emotionally) the impacts of our pregnancy loss π…. while also trying to plan and prepare a toddler for a long road trip. π¬

I was trying my best to keep myself calm so that no feelings of fear or anxiety could transfer to my extremely observant and super empathic (ALMOST) 2-year-old.
This is OUR journey….
