Have you ever needed something for the day, but you couldn’t find it?
Maybe it was a mate to a shoe, an official document, or something you needed to wear.
I know I have.
I also know what it feels like to scour your house or apartment when you’re unable to locate that thing.
I’ve mentioned this before, but the Lord often ministers to me through music.
This song was just on my heart so strong.
I can’t recall the first time that I heard it, but I do remember hearing it play as my mom and I were driving back home from what felt like my 100th college day trip to UNC. 😣
EVERYONE just KNEW that I should go to UNC. Everyone….except me.
Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise. Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Father, in the name of Jesus, it is into Your keeping that I place my family—my parents, spouse, children and grandchildren—knowing that You are able to keep that which I commit to You against that day. Thank you for the angels that You’ve commanded to guard my family and me so that we will not strike our foot against a stone. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen
