He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.

Happy Friday!
Seeing today’s verse of the day brought me so much joy this morning!
If you’ve followed any of my pages, you know #iPRESS is one of my personal mottos!
What great inspiration for this Friday morning.

And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you.

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
Today’s verse of the day is RIGHT on TIME. I love how this particular translation instructs us to “stay calm.” (in contrast with others that tell us to “be still.”)
2018 has been quite the year, indeed and staying in/returning to a state of calm (#ProtectYourPeace) has been essential in dealing with all of the circumstances I’ve encountered thus far.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds”

From the time you were a little girl until now, the devil has been diligently working at building strongholds in your mind.
Every time you experienced hurt or pain, he sought to build a new structure.
Whenever someone betrayed you, he told you that you would never trust anyone ever again.
Whenever someone abused you, he told you that you were not worthy of love.
With every lie you received as true, he established a new stronghold in your mind.
If given enough time, Satan will create an entire network of strongholds that completely distorts your view of everything around you.
A stronghold affects how you view God, how you view yourself, and how you view others.
