It’s Saturday, which means it’s time for some self care!

After an active morning, it’s time for a good shampoo and deep conditioning treatment.

I’m going to try out this new dryer bonnet I received to review.

I think it will make deep conditioning waaaaay more convenient because I can use my blow dryer instead of my hooded dryer and lounge while my conditioner sits!!! 🙌🏾💁🏾‍♀️🙌🏾💁🏾‍♀️

Here’s my quick washing routine:

Right now, I’m working my way through a backlog of products. I REFUSE to purchase any new products until I’ve exhausted my current supply.

After I shampoo and condition, I detangle my hair with a large tooth comb.

Then, I define my curls using a Denman brush.

Fix-it Fran’s Critique:

I REALLY wanted to like this item, but it has a major design flaw.

The drawstring around the bonnet doesn’t get a good grip and comes off after the pressure builds up.

I made it work by using the slack string to hold the bonnet down with my free hand.

At one point, I even resorted to placing my arm through the string loop, but it only served as a temporary fix.

Despite the flaws, I still like the option of using this in bed or while watching television instead of having to use my traditional hooded dryer at my kitchen or office table.
