I absolutely love this planner, I received it to review and thought I would just open it and pass it along, but it became an essential part of my action planning after creating/updating my 2017/2018 vision boards.

Book Review: Work PAUSE Thrive
This book was so great to read.
The sociologist in me geeked out.
The professional that spent years doing strategic research felt like I’d found “my people.”
Am I a biased reviewer? Maybe.
Is this a long post? Definitely. (Much longer than most.)
But, it will let you know a good bit more about me and it’s probably opening me up to a whole new series of posts.
So, here we go!
This is my personal review of a book that will be released later this month.
I didn’t plan this in advance, but it’s perfect for today given that the Women’s March took place Washington, DC along with other solidarity marches across the country and around the world.
The text is by Lisen Stromberg and it is titled, Work PAUSE Thrive: How to Pause for Parenthood Without Killing Your Career.

I Need a Little Bit of Coffee….
…And a WHOLE lot of JESUS!
Seriously. I received this cup from Consumer Associates to review and it could not have come at a better time. I’ll tell you a little bit more about the cup later on in this post– First things first– UPDATES!!!!
Meditations of My Heart
This morning’s “Meditation of My Heart”:
When I was single, I had a vision for my life and the woman I wanted to become and God was at the center.
Now that I am married, we have a JOINT vision for our marriage and the future we desire to build–with God at the center.
Having a vision is KEY–it keeps your motivated and helps you push through those hard days, but without God, that vision won’t work (or will only get you so far)! He causes seed to bear fruit in its season. If He’s not in it–it’s not something you should want.
This morning, I challenge you to ask yourself: “What is my vision?” and “Is God apart of it?”
Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.
Leviticus 26:3-4
“If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit.
Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
