Verse of the Day – Romans 8:39
Seeing today’s verse of the day made me so very happy!!!!
It’s a VERY familiar verse.
In fact, it’s a verse that I shared earlier this month while at my husband’s hospital bedside. ๐๐พ๐๐พ
It’s moments like this that give me an even better understanding of the songs my church mothers used to sing.
I LOVED singing hymns at church. (I was THAT kid on the choir ๐คฃ)
In particular, these lyrics come to mind,
๐ถ’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, ‘Thus saith the Lord!’Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!…๐ถ[Original post to follow]

Verse of the Day – James 3:13
Verse of the Day for February 17, 2018.
Our Flu Fight
I’ve been a bit MIA, but with good reason.
My husband was recently hospitalized with pneumonia complications following the flu.
It’s still rather surreal.
Even after seeing all the reports in the news, I never imagined that my husband would be one of those people.
