Daily Devotional for June 16, 2017 from Jesus Always

One thing you may soon realize about me is that I talk about daily devotionals…A LOT.

It’s because I truly value them and the difference they make in my life.

My day just doesn’t flow as smoothly when I don’t start with my quiet prayer time and a devotional that kick starts my personal Bible study and morning meditations.

June 14, 2017 Verse of The Day and A Prayer for Today

Good Morning!

Let’s celebrate being halfway through the week.

πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

Are you excited about something this morning? Did you set a new goal? Please let me know in the comment section of this post πŸ‘‡πŸΎ

I’m excited because I made a perfect score on my most recent course quiz! I’d been aiming for that and FINALLY accomplished that goal. πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ€“

Let’s celebrate one another, that’s how we build community and forge deeper connections!

Today’s Verse of the Day is also from Matthew, Chapter 5.

This morning, we’re looking at verse 14.

When you think about being a light, what does that mean to you?

To me, I think of letting God’s goodness shine through me. Β Be it through my actions, words, or even my inaction (particularly by refusing to respond to those things that attack my peace and attempt to distract me from my purpose.)

I pray that you’ll take a moment to meditate on this passage and prayer for today. Β πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’–

LOVE COVERS

There WAS a much longer post here, but it looks like it was erased somehow.. 😦

I’ll try to update it later.
Here’s the scripture reference for your personal meditation:
The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:7‭-‬8 NLT
