For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

All that the Father gives me will come to me,
and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.
John 6:37 ESV
Good morning!
Whenever I come across a familiar verse like this one, I like to look at a few different translations to give myself more to meditate on:
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. Proverbs 21:2 KJV
People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart. Proverbs 21:2 NLT

We justify our actions by appearances; God examines our motives. Proverbs 21:2 MSG
You may think that everything you do is right, but remember that the Lord judges your motives. Proverbs 21:2 GNT
There are several more translations, but just those 4 can give us a lot for our hearts to consider!
Happy Friday-eve!
I don’t know about you, but it’s been a long week for me and today will be no different — I’m in for a day of class, followed by work and I have a mounting pile of product reviews ππ
Good Morning!
Let’s celebrate being halfway through the week.

Are you excited about something this morning? Did you set a new goal? Please let me know in the comment section of this post ππΎ
I’m excited because I made a perfect score on my most recent course quiz! I’d been aiming for that and FINALLY accomplished that goal. ππΎπͺπ½π€
Let’s celebrate one another, that’s how we build community and forge deeper connections!
Today’s Verse of the Day is also from Matthew, Chapter 5.
This morning, we’re looking at verse 14.
When you think about being a light, what does that mean to you?
To me, I think of letting God’s goodness shine through me. Β Be it through my actions, words, or even my inaction (particularly by refusing to respond to those things that attack my peace and attempt to distract me from my purpose.)
I pray that you’ll take a moment to meditate on this passage and prayer for today. Β ππΎπ

βYou are the light of the worldβlike a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden….”
